Ted has 30+ years of experience assisting clients to plan for and navigate towards a financially successful retirement. His approach has always been to determine what his client's retirement objectives and financial needs were and then to construct and monitor a retirement planning strategy to arrive at that retirement destination. Ted's retirement planning method mirrors his flying as a professional airline pilot. Any successful flight or financial plan requires a thorough pre-flight plan review, close monitoring of the planned route of course, as well as recognizing when deviations to the course might be required to respond to changes in the weather or financial climates.
Professional Designations:
ATP - Airline Transport Pilots have acquired the highest level of aircraft pilot certification and are authorized to act as pilot in command on scheduled airline service. Certification was acquired in 2013.
CFP - Certified Financial Planner practitioners are Board Certified and provide comprehensive financial planning services using a detailed process to determine how individuals can meet life goals through proper management of their financial resources. Certification was acquired in 2002.
CFS - Certified Fund Specialists are distinguished by their specialized training to utilize sophisticated methods of evaluating and screening mutual funds in helping clients meet their investment objectives. Certification was acquired in 1999.
QPA - Qualified Pension Administrators are recognized professionals of The American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries who have the knowledge and experience to perform the technical and administrative functions of qualified plan design and administration. Designation was acquired in 1993.
